Turn what you know into a file an AI platform can actually use. Pick where it's going, fill in the pieces, and the right format comes out the other side.
Use a short, specific name that describes the job, such as sharepoint-migration-checklist.
A short, clear name. It becomes the title at the top of your instructions.
Example: Review the current site inventory, flag dependencies, and produce a phased migration checklist.
Be specific about triggers — vague descriptions mean the skill never fires when you need it, or fires when you don't.
Examples
A quick before/after or trigger phrase helps the platform pattern-match faster than prose alone.

# SharePoint migration checklist Use this when someone needs to plan a SharePoint migration. 1. Inventory sites, owners, permissions, forms, flows, and dependencies. 2. Separate what should move, be rebuilt, archived, or retired. 3. Flag anything that cannot move as-is. 4. Return a phased checklist with owners, risks, and validation steps.
